I’m a paddy who blogs about stuff that interests me, namely films, games, current affairs. In the non-virtual world, I work as an engineer in Dublin and spend weekends with my girlfriend, either in Dublin or Cork.
In the past, I’ve climbed a few bumps and the prophecy states that I will do so again but first I must work off my fetish for being beaten up by other grown men in pursuit of an oval-shaped ball.
Anything you want to know or ask about, just leave a comment.
if you’re still pissed off about the proposed government bail-out of big developers we’re running a missed call protest against it tomorrow – details here: http://www.irishhometruths.com/node/88
This is the same group that protested outside of the Dail on September the 25th. You may have read about our protest in the independent of the following day: http://www.independent.ie/business/personal-finance/property-mortgages/opposition-building-to-budget-boost-for-firsttime-buyers-1482603.html
We were delighted when we were mentioned again in another article yesterday which summarised many of our views and aims: http://www.independent.ie/business/personal-finance/property-mortgages/stimulus-for-housing-will-only-benefit-developers-1485931.html
I would be delighted if you would consider joining our facebook group: http://www.new.facebook.com/home.php#/group.php?gid=35567892564
Also I’d be very delighted if you plug the protest or the group.
And if you haven’t already you should come on over to the property pin: http://www.thepropertypin.com/viewforum.php?f=4

Hello and congratulations on your recent engagement! I am starting a new community blog for engaged and married grooms to talk about their view of the engagement and wedding planning experience. As a real live groom-to-be, I think you could offer meaningful advice and tips to other grooms about this fun but stressful experience. Please let me know if you are interested.
Thanks,
Jennifer Benz

They let you roam freely on teh interweb? Madness! Madness, I say! I thought you weren’t allowed near sharp objects or devices plugged into outlets!
Anyhoo…nice blog!

Nice stuff, my little secret is that every year I choose a topic to teach myself about, this year it’s economics, and I find your posts about the property bubble very useful in terms of understanding the flaws of fiscal policy built upon debt & dodgy loans and provokes my own thinking about improving it. Keep it up!
